High Grove Andalusians is a small breeding farm, family operated located in Bastrop, Texas.
Our horses are handled daily, and are very gentle, well-socialized, and very people-oriented. All our horses are turned out year-round were we believe they are better able to grow great bodies and minds.
Our goal is to breed Pure Spanish Andalusians (PRE) with incredible people pleasing temperaments with size, bone, and movement to compete in Dressage. The bloodlines of our horses are old, strongly Carthusian with some Military and Guardiola lines. The Guardiola line is very old and traces back to the Carthusian line. These horses were bred to work the bulls and win in the show ring. They have wonderful height and extension in their movement.
